The Three Patterns We See
Lukewarm coffee is almost always scale: mineral buildup insulates the thermoblock so water never reaches full temperature. Run the factory descale program with Jura tablets (never vinegar — it attacks seals).
Stuck on the heating symbol is often not a heating fault at all — a mis-seated or full drip tray stalls the startup rinse. Empty everything, reseat, power-cycle.
No heat at all after several minutes means a failed thermoblock, thermal fuse, or temperature sensor — internal repairs.

Why Jura Heating Faults Aren't DIY
Juras are built with security oval-head fasteners, densely packed internals, and mains-voltage heating circuits. Owner care ends at descaling, cleaning tablets, and filter changes. Past that point, disassembly without the right tools usually adds damage — we see it on the bench weekly.

Jura drop-off diagnosis is $225, applied to your repair on approval. Service is billed at $225/hour, and typical heating repairs — thermoblock, fuse, sensor — land between $225 and $500 with parts.
